Parenting

Drawing from the Love and Logic methods of Foster Cline and Jim Fay, I will help you find tools for parenting more effectively. Especially when our children reach adolescence, we parents may worry and become overly involved. Well intentioned, we hover over them like helicopters or give them commands like drill sergeants — perhaps because we don’t want them to make the same mistakes we did. I can help you begin to detach lovingly and become more of an advisor. Your children will learn how to make important decisions for themselves, and you will be there to guide them. Family interactions will become less contentious and more rewarding, and you won’t be worn out at the end of the day!

“Your children will become what you are, so be what you want them to be.”
